Jan. 2016 Daily Paintings: Day 14 “Baby Robin Haven”

Last year we had a number of robins making nests around our farm.  Robins’ Nest was one of my paintings inspired by a nest build next to my studio.  This painting is of a little baby robin who was just starting to fly and found a nice resting place on the edge of one of my garden boxes under the swiss chard.
