Acrylic Paint Pouring Art Workshop

If you have never heard of Paint Pouring, never tried it, or have experience in Paint Pouring, but want to learn some new techniques, this art workshop is for you!  In this art workshop, students will learn how to use Paint Pouring techniques on various surfaces:

  • necessary materials and possible surfaces, such as canvas, glass ornaments, ceramic, and more.
  • how to prepare surfaces
  • how to mix paint, and a recipe sheet to take home
  • how to direct paint, dirty pours, controlled pours, eliminating air bubbles, etc.
  • incorporating paint pouring with other painting techniques and mediums
  • final finishes and varnishes

All materials are included, but if you have any favourite supplies or materials,  you are welcome to bring them. Also, bring a medium-large cardboard box to take home your creations, as they will be wet and need time to dry at home.

We will also have some snacks and beverages to enjoy, and if any students are attending the Saturday morning workshop, and would like to bring their lunch and stay and visit while setting up for this afternoon workshop they are welcome to do so!

Please Note:  we have studio cats, who generally hide during Art Workshops, but do live in the studio, in case of allergies.

Payment can be made below, or by cheque, e-transfer, or cash. Contact Wendy to register if you are not purchasing a ticket below.  Please indicate in the comments the first name(s) of who you are registering, and their ages if under 18 yrs. old.

Click on the map at the top for our location. We are about 10-15 minutes from Welland and Port Colborne, 20 minutes from Fonthill, 30 -45 minutes from St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.
