While in the waiting room during my husband’s knee surgery, I painted this small watercolour and ink of our rooster, Kingsley and two of our hens, Big Mama and Peggy. I have a small travel watercolour set and travel watercolour brushes which contain the water in plastic tubes within the brush. Quite handy for doing quick studies anywhere! I have a moleskine watercolour book which even has a pocket for reference photos, notes, etc. I keep travel art supplies in a small backpack so I can work on studies or drawing while waiting or to capture ideas when I am out and about.
