South Niagara Artists Studio Tour 2013

sna-studio tour poster-smallerWe’ve been busy preparing for our 2nd annual South Niagara Artists Studio Tour which will take place this weekend on Sat. Aug. 10 and Sun. Aug. 11 from 10am to 6pm.

Niagara This Week reporter Luke Edward wrote an excellent article about our Studio Tour featuring one of our new members this year, Chris Summerhayes.  The article was published on July 11th in the Focus on Wainfleet section of The Port Colborne Leader.  You can read the article on the Niagara This Week website

This week a TVCogeco reporter and cameraman came out to my art studio and shot a video about my artwork and  the upcoming studio tour.  You can view it on the TVCogeco website.

This year we have 26 artists at 21 locations opening up their studios, showcasing their artwork, some demonstrating, and all available to answer questions about their artwork and art processes. This is a great opportunity to see where we create and get an inside look at the artistic process. We have a wide variety of artists’ styles and media, so there will be something for everyone.  Each time you visit an artist’s studio it will be different.  He or she will be working on new artwork, have new insights and ideas to share. Why not make it an annual event?  Bring children, friends and family along!

Come on out to see some great artwork, find that piece of art that you, or a loved one, connects with, and share some refreshments and great conversation.

The brochure and maps are available on our website, SouthNiagaraArtists.ca
