My Day 16 painting for the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge is “Yeti”. A friend I worked with when I was conducting small business marketing training has been following my daily paintings and sent me a picture via Facebook of her cute little poodle as a subject for one of my daily paintings. When I do commissions, I ask for lots of photo references so I can capture the personality of the animal. Since this was just for fun, I only used the one photo she sent as a reference.
I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and was teaching this morning, so I am one day behind, but will work on catching up through the next couple days.
