Summer Art Camp 2016

art-camp-at-workWe’ll be having  Art Camp in July again this summer at the art studio on Malowany Farm for ages 7 and up.  We are located in Wainfleet, Ontario, about 10 minutes from Port Colborne and Welland; 30 minutes from St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. (See the google map on our registration page)

Also, I may be teaching, Art Adventures, a week long children’s class for Port Colborne ArtWeek in August, so once I know if the Port Colborne class has enough students registered to be held, I  will decide whether or not I will hold a 2nd Art Camp week here at the studio in August.

Days and Times of Summer Art Camp:

July 11 – 15th Mon. – Fri.  (age 7 and up) 9:30am- noon –  (5 days/12.5 hrs) $94.
Busy some of the dates?  Pick and choose days at $25/day.

You can register your child or children using our online registration or call 905 899.4429.

We may use the horses and other animals and scenery around the farm as inspiration for artwork. All children/teen art classes include supplies and art materials. I keep class sizes small for individualized instruction so register soon!

Also, if you are looking for a fun birthday or other party, you can schedule an Art Party, here on the farm or at your location! Wendy hosts Paint Parties for adults too!

Wendy Malowany

Wendy Malowany earned her B.F.A., majoring in Painting, and her M.S. in Art Education. She has been drawing and creating since her childhood in the U.S. and Scotland, creating art at a professional level for over 25 years, and teaching art to children and adults for over 20 years. Painting has been her preferred medium since the beginning of her artistic career, particularly oils, but she does sometimes work in other media. Her artwork is inspired by the objects and scenes she encounters daily, in an expressive realistic style. Architecture, animals, landscapes, and nature in general, are the predominant themes of her artwork. She immigrated to Canada after marrying her Canadian husband in 2010, and works in her studio on their 8 acre hobby farm in Wainfleet, Ontario. Wendy sells her work locally, online, and her work is in collections internationally.
